Eorzea's Greatest Fighter

Founded in mid 2021 Eorzea's Greatest Fighter is the evolution of the former Eorzea's Greatest adventurer tournament.A full blown fighting league where individuals fight for a chance at the EGF championship as well as other accolades.Matches are fought Octagonal cage to both keep the fighters contain for the safety of the onlookers but also for them to use multiple dimensions for their advantage! Fighters are protected by a barrier that is generated from a specially designed Magitek core that surrounds the cage and the fighters to weaken damage and Aetheric attacks thus mitigating serious injuries.Fighters win by either knocking out their opponent or scoring more points than them.Whilst the primary way of fighting in the cage is a traditional one-on-one duel, the EGF does employee others match styles to keep things fresh, this includes but is not limited to, Tag team matches, Iron man matches, King of the Cage and Gauntlet matches as well as traditional tournament formants dubbed the Lord of the Cage.Matches are regulated and EGF guidelines limit or restrict certain items such as explosive weapons/ ordinance as well as bullets that must be replaced with EGF certified rubber rounds.Fighters are contracted but free to work other venues or jobs whilst contracted to the EGF. All fighters receive free medical care for any injuries sustained within the cage and are subject to medical examinations before and after fights.Currently the EGF has three title belts that could be held by a fighter, these are as follows;

EGF ChampionshipCurrent holder: Akiko SulyvahnThe ten ponze of gold. The most coveted title in the EGF. Whoever holds this is the top dog and earns the big gils. The title has a illustrious history being the evolution of the EGA title and thus when looking at the history records the two titles champions are talked about in the same lineage. Only the top ten may fight over this coveted title.

Young Couerl ChampionshipCurrent Holder: Olluine DhoroThe Workhorse title. The Young Couerl title is fought over by the mid tier fighters and constantly on the line. Those who hold this title have gone on to great things with at least one champion going on to hold the coveted EGF title.

All Star ChampionshipCurrent Holder: Firesand FuryA title that symbolises an up and coming contender. Normally fought over by the lower ranks keep an eye on the title holder. Chances are they are destined for greater things.
